AXA is a global company but headquartered in France and has African operations in Cameroon, Gabon, Ivory Coast, Morocco, Senegal, Algeria and now in Nigeria.
Will this acquisition result in change in AXA Mansard leadership?
AXA has described AXA Mansard leadership as an ‘‘experienced and successful management team’’ and also indicated that AXA Mansard would retain its management team, staff and values. AXA Mansard is still the Same Company with the Same People and the Same Values which are identical to those of AXA.
Will the company name be changed again?
AXA is the #1 insurance brand globally, the brand is valued at $8.12 billion. AXA has operations in fifty six countries of the world. When AXA acquires a company, the company name is usually changed to AXA or joined with the powerful AXA brand. The change may be immediate or after a while. There is no indication yet on the possibility and timing of a name change, however any name change will be subject to regulatory and shareholder approvals.
How will the acquisition work? How will the company be operated?
AXA Mansard’s operations would continue as usual. It is the same Company with the same people and sharing similar core values. However, AXA Mansard will now be included as part of AXA’s Mediterranean & Latin American Region.
